Which physical tool
Matched on recorded markings, not image similarity. Sets keep parent/child links, and a partial receipt never receives the whole set.
…and what supports that record. ToolingRecord is a concept in design for brands whose molds, dies and jigs sit at outside factories. Identity, title and custody stay separate. A release is not a receipt. Unknown stays Unknown.
Design target segment, not measured customers.
An invoice, a tooling agreement, a factory acknowledgement and a photo can each support a different claim, and they can conflict. A title dispute stays visible even when current custody is known.
Matched on recorded markings, not image similarity. Sets keep parent/child links, and a partial receipt never receives the whole set.
Title is a recorded assertion with its documents. The record never adjudicates legal ownership.
Recorded custody changes only on a matching receipt. The date something was observed is stored apart from upload and review dates. An old photo doesn't make a record fresh.
Only a matching receipt closes a transfer and installs new custody. Until then the tool is in transit, not “at Beta.” A missing receipt never times out into success. Try each step, including a mismatched receipt.
An old spreadsheet is a starting claim, not a fresh observation. Resolve five sample tools, or mark each one explicitly Unknown. Unresponsive suppliers stay in the exception queue, and reminders don’t raise confidence.

When you finalize a case, it freezes a labelled snapshot. New evidence creates a new revision and marks dependent conclusions stale. History is never edited.
It's a human evidence workbench, not an autonomous legal, engineering or compliance agent. A model can suggest candidate values. It never makes the decision.
This hostname is reserved for ToolingRecord, a private concept for keeping factory tooling evidence in a buyer-held dossier. Everything above is a synthetic illustration of the design, not a working product.
